Coach Brandon Taylor is the former Head Womenâs Basketball Coach at Hinds Community College in Utica, Mississippi, where he led one of the programâs most significant turnarounds in recent history. In his first season at the helm, Taylor elevated the Lady Bulldogs from a total of 11 wins across the previous eight seasons to an impressive 15-win campaign. Under his leadership, five of the programâs six sophomores successfully transferred to four-year institutions, continuing their academic and athletic careers.
Before Hinds, Taylor spent time at National Power Tyler Junior College and  four impactful years at Grayson College, where he developed multiple All-Conference and All-Region V student-athletes. During his tenure, he helped produce WBCA and NJCAA First Team All-American Jane Asinde and NJCAA All-American Promise Taylor and Salimatou Kourouma, both of whom emerged as standout national talents.
Taylor, also spent 8 seasons at 7 seasons at Eastern Oklahoma State College producing All-Americans Shola Adeboyo, and DeAmber Brice and several All-Conference and Region players.Â
Taylor also served on staff at Texas Southern University, gaining valuable NCAA Division I experience. Prior to TSU, he was a coaching assistant coach at national junior college powerhouse Trinity Valley Community College. While at TVCC, he contributed to a program that capturing  consecutive conference and regional championships and advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament.
A native of Nacogdoches, Texas, Taylor is a dedicated husband to Rye Taylor and the proud father of three children: Aspen (8), Emeric (6), and Phenyx (4).
