Rodrick Walker is a Dallas,Texas native. He played football at the running back position at Irving Nimitz High School. After a dynamic high school career, he became the #2 overall recruit in the nation without even playing his senior year due to breaking his ankle on the first play of the first game.
He went on to play college football at the University of Texas, helping the Longhorns win 2 conference titles. He also lead the team in rushing his senior season. After college, Rodrick was projected 3rd-5th round in the NFL draft and became a free agent. He was the President of the NFL Players Association for the San Antonio & Austin Chapters for four years from 2018-2021. He also was recently voted in by his NFL peers as the Director of Community and Player Relations for the NFL Alumni Association for the Austin & south Texas chapter.
Rodrick actively promotes The Rodrick Walker Foundation, continuing to support an array of charities. He organizes NFL youth football camps throughout the state of Texas and in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is a Brand Partner for LifeWave, a stem cell product company. When not hosting a camp, he’s training clients in speed and agility, and helping people live a better quality of life.
